Statement of Ethos and Values
At Adderley Primary School we are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. We believe every pupil should be able to participate in all school activities in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from harm. This is the responsibility of every adult employed by, or invited to deliver services at, Adderley Primary School. We recognise our responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all our pupils by protecting them from all forms of abuse and bullying.

Ethos:
The culture of our school will be based on the principles of dialogue, inclusion and mutual respect. All dealings between staff, pupils and parents will be characterised by a code of respect and good manners. Partnership, working together and celebrating our diverse cultures, are the cornerstone of our school community.
We are committed to providing a service to our pupils who are recognised as the most important group within the school community. Staff will demonstrate due consideration and respect for their pupils. Pupil voice will be recognised as part of being a Unicef Gold Rights Respecting School and staff will work with pupils to deal with their concerns.
