NATIONAL SPACE CENTRE LEICESTER

This time last week, Year 5 children were busy exploring the National Space Centre in Leicester which linked in perfectly with their ILP (imaginative Learning Project) topic, Stargazers.

There was so much for us to see and do. We saw real life space suits and a variety of satellites that have been launched into space as well as taking it in turns to present the news. We launched our own mini rockets and watched a documentary in a planetarium on life as an astronaut.

We highly recommend a visit to the National Space Centre and can’t wait to go back!
